Treasure Tree provides Home-based childcare throughout Auckland. We started in Glenfield, Northshore in 2016. We have grewn into various part of Auckland since 2017. Treasure Tree is now a very well established home based care service that has a great local reputation within the communities it is part of.
We strive to provide the best quality early childhood education to infants, toddlers, and young children. Most of our Educators provide in-home childcare with flexible hours from 7am-7pm. Our dedicated educators work together with the parents to provide tailored childcare programe to cater for the child’s individual needs.
Treasure Tree provides both full and part-time (minimum 4 hours a day, 12 hours per week) childcare options, tailored to each individual family’s needs. We We provide in-home childcare across Auckland. We charge no placement fees, meaning that you only pay for the service you receive from your family’s chosen home based educator, once your tamaiti’s (child’s) enrolment begins.
We offer free private Playgroups, music and movement group, swimming, gym classes and nature explorers sessions as part of our homebased childcare programmes. Your tamaiti (child) will receive a daily diary created by their Educator, a monthly learning story and a monthly learning portfolio entry, following a personalised visit from our trained and registered teaching team.

At Treasure Tre Home-Based Childcare, our programme is based on the NZ Early Childhood Curriculum – Te Whariki. A Whariki (or mat) represents the weaving together of all aspects of a child’s learning and development and the curriculum provides us with goals and learning outcomes for children. We endeavour to use this curriculum as a guideline for our programme while still acknowledging your child’s individual interests and needs. We strive to provide the children with variety of learning experiences. We observe the children and when we plan our curriculum we try to develop, enhance and extend their skills and learning experiences.
