Kia ora, my name is Joy. I live in North Park, east Auckland.
Kia ora, my name is Joy. I live in North Park, east Auckland with my son, daughter and my husband. I have more than 4 years’ experience in ECE. I used to be a Kindy teacher before I was pregnant with my first child. I have many years of experience in looking after infants and toddler and young children. I enjoy play, laugh and learn with the children.
Weekly Play Experiences
I have a spacious house with a beautiful garden and a child friendly deck surrounded by Vege Garden. I set up activities based on the children’s interests and needs. We like to read, having group play and free play on the morning. Our children also enjoy looking after the vegetables and fruits in our organic garden.
Treasure Tree Programme
Treasure Tree provides weekly and monthly planning based on the children’s interests and learning dispositions. We have weekly playgroups and educators catch up meeting locally that all of our Educators and whānau are welcome to attend.
Treasure Tree have designated visiting teacher to support each educator. I receive play& learn ideas, educational strategies and resources from my Visiting teacher on regular base. I am glad that we can work together to maintain the health& safety in the environment and deliver quality care and learning opportunities for the children in my care.
